hello
Welcome to Your Interactive Neighborhood Website!
hello

This website is provided for all our neighbors in Milan. It is our hope that as Milan grows from a small community of less than 5000 residents (in 2006) to possibly triple its current size (projected to happen in 10 years time), this site will help to bring all neighbors together. Traditionally Milan was made up of many families who all knew each other, had multi-generational ties in town, and a number of streets still bear well-known names of the old families.

This is certainly changing with all the new housing that has been built and is yet to come. For newer developments so far we have Eagle Springs with phases 1 and 2 completed: Glendale Farms which is adjacent to Eagle Springs; Meadowbrook which is on the north side of the City and about 80% complete; and Uptown Village also on the north side which still has quite a bit to be finished. Milan Crossing and Cherry Lane are our newest condo developments. With our present slow real estate market, not much of new construction is happening right now, but this will all bounce back in the near future, and we will see even more developments take off in this area.

With this website we hope to keep you informed on what's happening in Milan, not just in new housing developments, and other real estate news, but also in our schools and government and businesses.

Please enjoy this site and use it often. If you have friends or family who might be interested in any of the information you find submitted here, simply email the page to them! Remember, this site is absolutely FREE and was designed exclusively for you and your neighbors.

Sincerely Yours
Barbara Gaines

Quote of the Day
Instead of worrying about what people say of you, why not spend your time trying to accomplish something they will admire.
